                                                 HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI

Ganesha Chaturthi  is the Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the god Ganesha, the elephant-headed, remover of obstacles and the god of beginnings and wisdom.
The festival, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period). The date usually falls between August and September. The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi (fourteenth day of the waxing moon period).

Lets celebrate GANESH CHATURTHI in CROSS STITCH form. HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI.
This cross stitch pattern depicts that Lord Ganesha is providing us the strength to conquer all the hurdles from everybody's life.

                                                 HAPPY TEACHER'S  DAY

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan   was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was
the first Vice President of India (1952–1962) and the second President of India from 1962 to 1967.
One of India's most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy.
His philosophy was grounded in Advaita Vedanta, reinterpreting this tradition for a contemporary understanding.
He defended Hinduism against "uninformed Western criticism", contributing to the formation of contemporary Hindu identity.
Radhakrishnan believed that "teachers should be the best minds in the country". Since 1962, his birthday is celebrated in India as Teachers' Day on 5 September.

This TEACHER'S DAY I am presenting the hand sketch of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan  in CROSS STTICH form .

Krishna Janmashtami, also known as Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Ashtami Rohini,
Srikrishna Jayanti, Sree Jayanti is an annual celebration of the birth of the Hindu deity Krishna,
the eighth avatar of Vishnu.

The festival is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the
month of Bhadrapad (August–September) in the Hindu calendar. Rasa lila, dramatic enactments of the life  of Krishna, are a special feature in regions of Mathura and Vrindavan, and regions following Vaishnavism  in Manipur. Krishna Janmashtami is followed by the festival Nandotsav, which celebrates the occasion when Nanda Baba distributed gifts to the community in honour of the birth.
Lets celebrate SRI KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI in CROSS STITCH form.
